On Ebay this week, I have listed a Radio Shack HTX-242 Mobile transceiver. This radio has been opened up for expanded transmit (something I can't say in the Ebay listing) and will transmit everywhere it receives; from 136-174MHz
Radio has high / low power.. (15w/45w) and 40 memory channels plus 1 call channel.
Memories can be scanned or programmed to skip during scan.
Radio is in good working condition and has had the backlighting replaced with LEDs for longer life. The small incandescent bulbs are a pain in the rear to replace so when it came time to replace them I decided to go the LED route.
This radio has served me very well, but is now in surplus to my needs as I currently have two ICOM radios... one for the car, one for the house.
