ranger 198 mic

just got mine today from copper. cleanest cb mic i think . tested against many other noise canselling mic
and the 198 always sounded the cleanest. i bought a 636le a few years back very disappointed. and local here has a newer rk56 and there not what they used to be either [ not by my ears]

Might also try the uniden bearcat mic, the older ones, look like this. They are a clean and clear mic on air on every radio I have used them on. Even tried it once on my IC746 and it was clean and clear. It's named either the MK516 or the other long name/# I posted as well. Good mics.
