I've recently dropped my 2950 dx , and the on /off switch and mode selector are twisted can anyone recommend a repair facility , I've already been to one radio repair shop in San Antonio Texas, clays radio shop and he has told the parts are hard to obtain ... I'm assuming I would need new pins as when I take the caps off the pins are bent inside,so would it be possible to send it to a good repair shop as I don't know of any of hand or to ranger if they do repairs the radio is about 3 years old and might also need to be checked if is on frequency any advice would be greatly apreciated .. also wanted to point out I live in Western Canada but haul produce from Canada anywhere in the USA so i might not be always travelling the same route ....

Ok thanks I'm not sure if that's a big job time wise but I would rather get it done while I wait if possible , I shall check out those links thanks .

Radio Shop Supply in Ramona CA. Ranger factory repair shop and they have done excellent work for me on a number of radios

I have previously used DTB, and would again, but have been looking for a good place on the west coast of the USA that would do a good tune (+align/expand) on RCI 29xx series radios.

Would you recommend them for this?

Do they have a walk-in shop, or online only? Do they service vintage radios/amp as well? Trying to gauge the technicians range of experience.
