Guy gave me a RCA CO-PILOT 14T304 it works but I had to rewire the mic plug to the standard Cobra 4 pin

it took me a min but some one did upper Channels on the ANL switch and I am going to reverse it to normal as I see it having no point at every one is using SSB up there

ok but I am getting 4 watts from Ch11-40 and 0 watts on ch 1-10 I am picking up some contact cleaner tomorrow at work to spray if that don't work where can I start looking to fix this?

and where can I fined alignment info?

I had it on the freq counter and I am getting NO TX Freq read out from Ch 1-10

I hope the PLL is not busted {Cry_river}

if the vco is not locking on in the lower channels this will happen. just look at the manual and check the internal adjustments to see if some there is out just a little. will lead you to what might be wrong also.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
