Some schematics for Galaxy et al... with the same generation boards show 2002 as the part number. It is a (double) center tapped 455kc IF transformer. Secondary looks either unused (in this case, no traces), or maybe nonexistent? If you have a junk Galaxy/Mirage/Connex/ et cetera radio, they are the same. Not the one by the FM Discriminator/Demodulator, that is a 12003 or 2003.
L3/L5/L6 are the same unit. How do you know if it is bad? Did you Ohm it out for continuity?
Whoa! I screwed something up when I looked for it there. Seems to me the small quantity window was missing. When that happens, it usually means out of stock. Today, it shows that he has that one. Cool!
I just figured the core had cracked in his radio or something like that.
Yet another part that costs less than what it costs to deliver to you.
Still a better solution that scrounging from a junk radio.
