It's real. I've seen people do that just as fast. I was in the Navy with a guy who could toss back a mug of beer in about 2 seconds. It was unreal.

Don't know if that was beer or tea, but, I've seen it happen several times with beer.
I had a good friend that done that, maybe not quite that fast, but he could do it around 30 seconds.
He always drank a bottle of beer in just two drinks! Never 3, never 4, never 5 - just 2 every time.
