Realistic 21-1173 Frequency Response

I am told I sound nasally. well, that's just not me! But after seeing the Frequency response of 500hz to 5k it seems to cut a bit of fundamental voice off. I think I know what to do but I'd rather have your expert information before I screw up something!

Am I correct that replacing the .001 ceramic caps with .01 would open up the lower response?

Quick answer is no. Long answer is lower any cap to ground or open for more treble(highs) and increase any cap inline for bass(lows).

1uF is plenty for wide bandwidth. Those grounding caps are small enough.
I think radio is a bottleneck, not microphone.
