Not much happening my way in terms of skip. Even LSB 38 is pretty quiet. I know the forecast for 10-12 meter daytime propagation was in the "fair" range. Let's what the next three hours of daylight deliver.
Yep I got a chance to talk to Jeff 339 out in California also . 417
I was on my way to town and heard the first call, I actually pulled over in a turn-out on 140.
When Marconi keyed up he was right in my radio, 10 over signal.
Made several more contacts on my way home too, so the band was good, just noisy.
The noise floor here was running about s-5.

It may pick up this evening and go long as the sun sets.
In the evening I sometimes listen to 38 lsb after the band seems to closed and stations can pop up using greyline propagation.

You know Jeff you got louder and louder I'll probably heard you for 45 minutes, I heard you talk to was it Grandpa . You really got to blasting in very there for a while

I tired again today…nothing! Funny cause I had contact with Northern Alberta Canada so I know I was getting out. Oh well…try again!!
I've been able to connect with 226 a few times this afternoon, but the signal fades in and out quite a bit. No other contacts made. It definitely looks like conditions are more favorable more to the west.
Marconi ( Grandpa) is blessed with his home location, even when his antenna was only 10 foot off the ground he has always done good out here on the west coast.

I am challenged by a large mass of rock, surrounding me in every direction from the NE to the SE. If you are not in Long Island, CT, MA, Europe or South America, it is rough for me. I have not given up yet, so I'll be trying again tomorrow.
