What might be meant by someone telling me I'm on the reflector? This ch 19 yakkin. I'm thinking he meant repeater. Could/would this have anything to do with using an amp? Radio is a DX99V.
 

If it was DX it could have been an email reflector he was talking about. People can subscribe to an email reflector system where one person can email activity or "spots" as they are called and the system automatically sends that info out to all subscribers. That is one type of reflector. On the other hand he may have simply been saying that you are behind him if you were talking local driver to driver.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
