This Trucker Cb Sales here is at $369 on them ..... too high. Quick search I didn't see anyone else selling them yet .... I'm sure they'll be coming along in time.

Got a call from a guy trying to convert the thing. Said "EPT6911", followed by suffix letters I forgot to write down.

Said moving a jumper got him the 40 CB channels, but the band knob was still disabled.

Couldn't help him.

Shying away from Ranger these days due to their QC issues, but they have the right idea bringing out a radio like this.

I would love to see QX come out with their own version, either a SS-158 copy similar to this radio or a Connex 4800 DXL or even better a modern clone of the Cobra 148GTL DX+ but with the modern QX-designed innards. Call it the QT45. They could really blow us away and put in a 7-digit freq counter. The QX radios have such little drift a 10 Hz digit would actually be useful.

I have a QT40 and love it. A "QT45" would be the ultimate nostalgia radio and I'd be the first in line to buy one.
