Sad news to future education seekers

This morning on local tv they said vatteroff college in springfield,mo is closing.
They had great vocational clases,electronics,mechanics, hvac,etc
My daughter was going to go there but changed her mind.a close friend of hers did enroll at vatteroff. Not good for learning minds

Probably funding? It’s like around here, schools suffer cause of funding issues but I thought that’s what “education” lottery was supposed to help.

I refused to put my daughter in public school. So I didn’t. Couldn’t be happier.

It is sad to see such go, the college around here doesn’t offer much in the way of electronics and such. Another nail I guess.

Nice. Always make sure you hang yourself. Might’ve been some pocket stashing going on somewhere, you never know. Let someone teach a course that doesn’t know jack but pay them half the salary and pocket the rest. Isn’t that the good ole boy system or something like it?
