"It has NO batteries" and then proceeds to show the plates of the "battery". Idk, if it worked good with ocean water, maybe, but you could practically power a led with a potato so I see it more as a science demonstration, it's cool, but not the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wonder what the life expectancy of the electrode plates are.

There's another one out there that shows one with larger electrodes, I think they were rated for appox 250 total hours run time and replacement plates for about 4 bucks.
Your right,it's just super simple basic highschool science class stuff, but it's a novel spin on it.
And someone is making money

I recall "the Professor" developed that salt water battery charging technology to recharge the batteries for their shortwave radio. Funny that he couldn't develop a glue out of tree sap to repair their boat to get off the island.

  • @ Hambones amps:
Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
  • @ ShadowDelaware:
Hambones the entire amp section would have to be retuned, and the rf transformers re wrapped.
