Sams PhotoFacts Collection

Shortly after the 352 hit the market I received one for free. Not from the factory, but from a disgruntled wife of a CB’er. It seems he was spending too much of his life on the CB instead of paying attention to her needs. During a heated argument she slammed the radio against the wall. The front bezel was broken and the frame was badly bent among other things. After explaining the cost of repairs they decided to give the radio to me along with the promise of never speaking of the incident to anyone. Several years later after I moved, I restored this radio and gave it to a friend. Mated with a D104 and a few extra crystals, he enjoyed using that radio for many years.
There are many examples of these types of things happening during CB’s hay day. A Browning Golden Eagle CB that was tossed on a snow bank. Fortunately the soft snow didn’t cause too much damage, but I digress. Enhancing some of these PDF files often brings back those memories with a grin.

Nice work! Dan

Sorry to bother again!

By chance would you or anyone in this thread have the original Cobra 29 service manual? I'm looking for the 23 channel one, not the newer 40 channel units. I think it's in Sams CB-56.

Hey Dan. Any chance you have CB76, for a Pace CB-76? I'm not sure if that is the correct Photofact number or not, but believe it is. I would appreciate it. My wife's father had this CB and she found it the other day in storage.
Thanks

I will check and see... give me a few minutes
