I recently returned to ham radio and I am interested in satellite communications. Can anyone tell me what is the best software to use? I have recently purchased a Kenwood TH-F6A tri band handheld and am considering the Arrow antenna with split boom and duplexer.

Best? Not sure about best, but Satscape is what I like. There are also a few good apps for iphone and android (like HamSat) that do the trick too.

I have windows 7 on my HP computer that is less that a year old; I cannot get Satscape to download; I get this JLP file and when I try to open it, nothing happens. Any suggestions.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
