SBE Console V shops

last console v i had here a few years back had most of the caps showing high esr.
replacing every cap and resoldering the feedthrus got it going.
belongs to a local farmer.
he never turns it off.

I’ve never used Strouds Electronics yet in Marion Illinois but he came highly recommended to me from a couple folks that I can say Honestly have. I’m not sure if you pass on contact info on this site but google him for info. The people that recommended him to me had him go thru their Trams Brownings and a couple of older Pace radios with superb results.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
