I WAS THINKING WE COULD HAVE A CDX CLUB CONTEST ON 10 METER !!! THIS WOULD GIVE US ABOUT SAME TYPE BAND CONDITIONS AS THE OTHER CONTEST FOR NON HAMS.
OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO BE LICENSED FOR HF
MAYBE HAVE IT IN DECEMBER AND GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE TO GET LICENSED OR UPGRADE TO GENERAL OR EXTRA

This is a great idea hammer, i am in the middle of getting my ticket, and after that i will get my General so i can do this, thissounds very good and it will be a great thing for the forum.

The reason I thought 10 meter would be good is it will be similar to the current contests with band conditions and most who participate in the current contest can still listen in on the 10 meter contest with their radios.

Well all looks great for the contest, I understand there are a few glitches we need to overcome. I also see a few would not want this contest.That is fine thats the reason for the poll. What I would like to know is why not have the contest for those that voted no, just so we know why.
Maybe we can have the contact information done in a section requiring a password? I was intending this contest be held on a different weekend as the regular contests so there would be no conflict.
10 meter was chose because of similar propagation to the regular contests and most people have a radio that can operate on 10 meter.
