Anyone know what it is? Mine is missing and I don't see a value mentioned anywhere.

2.2uF is more than enough.
Thanks Mike. If I don't get a more definitive answer, I'll give that a shot. I am hoping someone that has one will crack it open and take a peek.

For future reference in case some one else wants to know. I reached out to Shure to see what they said. They didn't even have the owner's manual so I sent them a copy and this was their reply:

Case #: 01060282

Thanks for providing that. That is a 1uF coupling capacitor.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

So the polarized capacitor that is on the 444D schematic in series with the audio line has a value of 1uF (according to Shure).

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
