I looked out this morning and nothing was happening. 10 minutes later I saw some snow start to fall. Within about 30 min the bare ground turned to this. It's supposed to last till late tonight. Possibly up to a foot of snow .

Come on down to the Jersey shore Sonwatcher, it's cold and wet here, but not a flake of snow........
we are getting pounde here in Central Wisconsin. We got a foot of snow lastweek and a foot of snow Friday kids had school called off last week when it snowed and Friday it was called off due to snow. Now we are getting dumped on at this very moment up to 6 inches by morning.
Here in the NW corner of PA, we're currently under two weather warnings, high winds and winter storm. Sunday thru Monday possible 6-12" new lake effect snow, 20-40 mph winds, 55 mph gusts. Wind chill factors down to -10F. Definitely looks like a white Xmas.
