Ok so i finally got around to putting the Monkey Made (all noted on the posts about arcing coils!) on the mobile, will be mounted on a large aluminium plate on the roof bars.
Question is, even with a big heavy beehive mount, i cant help but think that the wind loading on this thing will be so great at say 70mph that the mount or the 3/8th" bolt at the base of the shaft will snap. Can anyone alay my fears of this ?
The model is the 12" shaft, competition (yeh, right lol) large 4"coil 3/4inch straped coil.
