So long Magnum, Move over Cobra and make room for the Pace 162. Being a junk yard hound and never leaving a radio to the crusher I had to save this old Pace from certain death. I would have never guessed it would work but I quickly hooked it up in the wifes mini van and holey toledo it works perfectly! It works so well I have been riding around in a blue mini van talking and having a blast. Nothing but good reports and it gets out much better than I would have thought. Anyone have an idea when it was made?

Thanks
Tim

unable to locate a date for that radio...is the date of manufacture not on the back of the radio on one of those tags?

my best guess would be mid 70's, maybe '75 give or take a year so. perhaps '73-'77.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
