Some people are clueless

" Question Sent to Seller:
hi what does it mean when you say you had it changed to class c from class a thanks tomJun-08-10A:
Answer by Seller:

Class B amps are not as efficient. They are cleaner and good for SSB but you do not get the output power the transistors are capable of. Class C amps are way more efficient. You get more power, but you also get more distortion, making them really good AM amplifiers (Skip Shooters). So basically, using 80-100 amps of current draw, as a Class C, you get 900 to 1000 PEP watts output whereas before with a Class B you may have gotten 600-700 PEP watts output.

TNT (Xforce) 900watt "2x4" 10 Meter Linear Amplifier - eBay (item 200480746249 end time Jun-13-10 20:41:04 PDT)

Does more watts as a class c than b?????????? The C and B bias Xforce amps do the exact same watts on AM.....you just can't volt the B bias at more than 16 volts.
Why pay a bunch of $$$$$ more for B bias if you are just going to hack it up and put it back to C???
Are really trying to get people to believe the biasing in an x-amp will stand 16 volts and if so how long will it take before it go into superduper thermal viscosity breakdown.lol

Yes that's how you hype your product.

Changing the bias from on the TNTs from B to C takes about 5 minutes. Look at the clusterfuck "preamp relay", what an abortion.
If you run one of these without overdriving it, they'll last as long as a low output Texas star.
