Got some "pops" today, but the 15 or so C to M class are starting to arrive...

It's very nice to see active spots rotating across old sol.
My favorite bands are 10/11/12, you can use CB antennas without to much fuss and 100 or so watts on SSB will work the world.
Even mobile the antennas are manageable.
Ya, I like seeing them numbers, and look forward to seeing them climb.

I can say running the highways today the skip was very much active. So glad to we get to enjoy the hobby that much more with conditions in our favor again.
Good to see the uptick in solar activity. 10 was open nicely this evening.

Solar Activity
.24 hr Summary...
Solar activity was at low levels due to C-class flares from beyond the
NW limb. These events were all likely from former Region 2831 (N24,
L=79). A C1 flare which occurred at 09/1159 had an associated type II
radio sweep at 09/1201, suggesting a likely associated, but not
Earth-directed, CME. Region 2829 (S20W39, Dso/beta) decayed further and
was inactive. New region 2832 (N15W00, Bxo/beta) was numbered today, but
was also largely inactive. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in
available coronagraph imagery.

Solar activity is expected to be very low on 10-12 Jun with a slight
chance for C-class flares.
Solar-terrestrial indices for 09 June follow.
Solar flux 79 and estimated planetary A-index 4.
The estimated planetary K-index at 0900 UTC on 10 June was 0.
No space weather storms were observed for the past 24 hours.
