Spikes Cb Radio Repair... Forum Member Discount

Why pay someone to tune your radio when all you have to do is!
1. Turn every adjustment all the way to the left. ( back off a little if you want)
2. Spread everything you can as wide as you can.. EVERYTHING !!!
3. CLipping. Cut out olny the real small stuff ( you know the tiny ones) these slow down and limit the watts. Clip em all.
4. Turn all controls on the radio wide open. And also the power mic. ( this is important)
5. Talk as loud and as close to the mike as you can.
6. It's best to keep the windows down and radio on to keep your signal loud.
This also works on most radios and on SSB.
That squeal will get their attention. have fun and good luck.

This works for me and is not approved by The Worldwidedx website.

Love the golden glow off the screwdriver on Video 2.

I am sure he feels better after turning up VR1 and adjusting
his S meter up.
LMAO.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
