No I don’t believe so. Swr is near flat to 1.3 across the band, I talk all over with no problems. I make contacts that friends can’t make on their fiberglass sticks. It seems all good!

A week after I put up my old penetrator a storm came through with 80mph gusts and it survived too.

Just installed the SPT-500 over the top of my shed a few weeks ago. Good to know these things can take the wind!
