Stock cobra mic wiring

My stock 148 has a five pin connector with wires as...... Shield-Ground, White-Audio, Black-Common, Blue-Receive, and Red-Transmit. The radio won't receive unless the mic is plugged in. Hope that helps.

You should just be able to use any 5 pin mic that's wired for 5 pin Cobra or uniden.
