there is a seller in my state selling a xts2500 but there is no labels on the back of the unit. The seller couldn't find any I bet its stolen I sent a message stating it might be stolen and I got all caps and 10 paragraphs about the radio where it was purchased. Jeesh all I want to know is if its vhf uhf lo uhf hi or 700/800mhz. All I want is a vhf or uhf lo rig. Man some people get carazy bonkers on eBay

Insinuating someone is a thief is right up there in the top 3 list of insults.

AGREED!

VS, you said " I sent a message stating it might be stolen and I got all caps and 10 paragraphs about the radio where it was purchased." Well DUHH what would you expect.

If this part is true " Jeesh all I want to know is if its vhf uhf lo uhf hi or 700/800mhz. All I want is a vhf or uhf lo rig. Man some people get carazy bonkers on eBay" then why didn't you restrict your questions to that only?

I'll bet the guy thought the same thing you did about the " Man some people get carazy bonkers on eBay" part. :D

Whatever I shouldn't have made this thread it already took a dump on my part FML:banghead:

I would tend to think the radios were stolen if the ID labels had been removed as well......

I doubt I would have sent the guy an email as to what my personal thoughts were....but if would have not been able to tell me what band/bands the radios covered that sure would have made me raise an eyebrow

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
