Does anyone know of a better replacement than Stryker's part to fix the encoder? My old 955's encoder is almost unusable. I could buy one from Stryker for $10 and replace it, but if anyone has any suggestions for a better part I am all ears. Thanks.

Now someone just needs to get one and see if it really is more durable.
( then if it is, ask them why they don't use the better encoder in the first place)

I'm assuming these are what is used in the V2. So, unless I just happened to get an old one or bad one, no. No better. But I understand Alps makes a hard core replacement part.

Ask mudduck in the desert he says he got hundreds of them and you gotta buy one of his new radios. Last count invoice number was above 6000, and they say been waiting more than a year.
