Leave it alone and enjoy the radio many radios will do an extra 5 10 15 or 20 watts but at the point of reliability problems and audio quality the extra few watts won't even be missed at the other end. That extra few watts may look extra sexy on your meter but sometimes plain Jane works it better

I go by wire function. Color codes mean nothing to me. I wire all mics the same way regardless of manufacturer.
