It happens all the time unfortunately. Auto repair is one of the easiest repairs to scam. Overcharging, lack of suggested repairs, scare tatics toward women etc.

There is no integrity any more, only the almighty dollar.

yep I remember back in the late 80's they did the same with electronics shops..and man the sh$t they charged for repair was crazy..your allowed so much mark up but these dudes were just not replacing nothing...they came to my shop,but walked out mad
as all was repaired and or charged accordingly.
Its a cruel world,someones got to slap it in the arse with a reality
