I have a real golden screwdriver special here. Board# EPT120112Z. Similar to the SS121, but not exactly. I cant find any info on this radio. Looking mainly for alignment info. Ive gotten it as close as I can, with a 4w key the modulation is super low. Around a 1/2w key the modulation is great. This radio was missing the audio chip. Replaced 9 broken cores in cans. Someone had soldered the meter light ground to the meter negative side. Found 2 blown diodes, 2 bad caps. It was a pretty good mess of bad solder joints as well. As best I can tell its all straightened out now except the low modulation. Does anyone happen to have a schematic or alignment procedure for this radio?

Ive found that schematic but this one must be a different revision. Basically the same but lots of components have different values. Some arent even listed here. Looks to be stock with the different parts as well.

Search around the CRT site above, the are several different clones that use similar boards, maybe one is closer to what you have.
It's weird that it's different than the schmo, but you never know who's changed what over the years or if it was a last run before a new board came out....

is this the one with the dual audio amps?

If so, i believe there is a thread i started years ago when i was messing with the one i have.
I need to get back to that radio someday...

One of the dual audio-chip versions was EPT3000, maybe? There is more than one of them. The Ranger RG33 schematic is posted here, I think. Can't remember the pc board #, but it has the push-pull audio amp and big modulation transformer.
