I've always wondered if the Swan Mark II amps could take the full output of a Swan 700CX transceiver?

If so, at the 700CX's 300+ PEP output then in a sense, is the Swan Mark II considered a "high drive" amp?

I would reduce the drive so as not to exceed plate and grid current on the 3-500Z, I have a 700CX and I do not use an amp with it,

The Mark II can be used with the SWAN 700CX...but only with the ALC feedback circuit in use...This circuit reduces the output of xceiver to keep from overdriving the amp.
So NO you can not drive a pair of 3-500z's with 300 watts:eek::D
All the Best

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
