it's a 2950 with a different display and a power supply....just another radio for someone to buy and say "look what I have"....

Well I like it a lot because I like the new 2950DX that I have, if the radio was like 399 it would be in my shack but yea for 500 that is a little much with HF radios in the same price range. Wait until mid summer and the rage is over you'll probably see a price drop

It's only money. Some people have more than others and don't mind spending it. If the manufacturers didn't think anyone would buy it, they would price it cheaper.

Wow, that reads way harsher then it did that night with the help of 9 Bud Lights. I guess the edit options goes away after a certain time.

I am happy with my Uniden Madison, and I have an old school orange display 2950 I can run on an Astron. It's good to see RCI come up with a new twist for the 2950 chasis.

im really looking forward to the cb mag mans review of the 718 and hope he does some you tube audio comparisons of it with a 45hp , 2950dx or a 257hp on 11 meters .
