Hello does anyone know of replacement for the T401 transformer for 142 gtl thanks

You can use the transformer from a Uniden Washington or even a Cobra 139XLR or Realsitic TRC-457 - TRC458 they will all work fine.

He's right. Most any other Uniden-made 40-channel SSB base radio will use the same transformer. This may not hold true for radios made by a different vendor than Uniden. Or it might.

Just be sure to replace all the damaged parts that smoked the previous transformer.
