They do work. That doesn't say how well they work. If it 'fits' your particular requirements, then why not? They just aren't 'miracles' so don't expect the same results as with other antennas (lots of 'wiggle room' in that one, huh?). I thought about trying one but my laziness sort of got in the way. Oh well.
