Tak-tenna


If that is the one you're thinking of, you understand that it's just a really short loaded dipole, right?
 
I read about the Tak-tenna today and decided that it wasn't worth building. I mean if That's all I had room for, then it might work for a balcony. It just seemed kinda cool until you actually apply the physics. Can't spell... My Bad.
I am an Extra yes... doesn't mean I have all the answers. I am learning everyday. I know you guys were just having fun. I've always done good on tests. Mackmobile please apply the peoples elbow to your self. And while you are at it
 
I started putting one together for 11 meters, but the initial results were not to my liking. I put it on the shelf for later.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
