talkback mod 29wx nw st

sorry if this post is in the wrong area, its my first post here.
i was digging around in my closet today and found my old
radio, it was like christmas, i never got around to adding
talkback to it and its been a while, im quite rusty but if
i add a 100 ohm 1 watt resister between the solder points of
my PA and EXT that should work correct???

Yes. but if you want a bit louder, you can drop as low as 33 ohms before you start to pull down the PEP of the radio.

PEP, peak envelope power. how do you explain it? is it total output power?

I've found that a 47 ohm resistor works really well with a 25 or 29 by Cobra.
