I see that Tech 808, Lon, N9CEF from another forum who many of us know became SK on Jan 9, 2011. He was laid to rest today.

I saw that the other day myself. I know many on this forum didnt care much for Lon but he is someones loved one so we should respect that fact. May Lon rest in peace and may God find peace & comfort for his family @ this sad time in their lives.

anyone that knew Lon knew that he and his wife Shirley were very close, and were basically inseparable.
Shirley passed not too long ago, so at least its comforting to know that they are both together again.
Lon and i had our differences, but i will miss him.
