TecsunPL-680 problem. Not working on Am. FM only.

Very strange. Fairly new radio. Fresh batteries.

Set to AM (medium and shortwave). Ensured no USB.
No stations. Just noise.
FM works perfectly.
Grateful for any ideas please.

If it is new send it for warranty repair/replace.

According to the information from eBay, the frequency ranges available are:

• FM: 76-108 MHz, 87-108 MHz
• MW (AM): 520-1710 kHz, 522-1620 kHz
• LW: 100-519 kHz
• SW: 1711-29999 kHz
• AIR: 118 – 137 MHz

Your AM frequencies look like regular AM broadcasts for the public.

The back of your radio has the same information except for the "(AM)" part after MW.

If it is new and still not working send it back as sp5it said.
