Texas Ranger TR696 FSSB

Sorry if this has been asked before.... But does anyone use this Texas Ranger 696 FSSB base radio. Is it a good radio, how does it perform??? RX and TX.

good radio, basically the same as the Galaxy 2547 and 959.

I sure loved my Galaxy DX2547. BUT... a buddy of mine just had
to have it,so I sold it to him.Now he just loves! Best "CB" base
to come along since the ol' 2000GTL IMO. I'd like to get another
someday before they stop production on them.
