Texas Ranger TR696F SSB

Hi, I have a Texas Ranger TR696F SSB, that was modded probably 15 years ago by a friend of a member here. just curious if I can take pics of the main board and someone advise what mod was made. seems it was an SSB mod.
once I know what mod, looking to sell it

Pictures of the top of the main board and the bottom of the main board would help.
You don't remember what the modification was/does/did?
Extra channels or something

Image 2 looks like channel expansion. Not how we do it. Four wires soldered to the solder side of the pc board disappear around the circuit board's front edge. But the topside pic doesn't eveal where they go. To a couple of switches, you'd think.

are those wires in a spot you would use for that otherwise? is there a spot i can check to see if they go there?
