Texas Star DX 350 CB Amplifier

Buttons upside down.
That's correct, the buttons are upside down because the guy I this from (BellsCB.com) put them that way because I was mounting the amp with the fan facing sideways or right side up, that way I could just glance at the buttons to see the buttons easily. I don't know why he left the meter the way he did. I mounted it on it's side with velcro straps. It puts out about 200 Watts with a dead key of 7-8 watts with a little more modulated.

Begs the question why on earth does Texas star put the heatsink on the bottom?

Think about it.....these amps come from the factory with mounting brackets. Perry Mason and Paul Drake won't be needed to figure this one out. LOL

I hope you really were not hitting that amp with a 7 or 8 watt dead key, ouch.
