I plant a garden every year and have for about 30 years. I work out of town as most of you probably know by now, so when I get home from work I have two weeks of weeds to take care of because my wife can't use the tiller. So Im trying this really thick felt that they use at the rig. Its worked great in my landscaping, it's around all my plants and allows water to soak through while the surrounding lava rock is sitting on heavy duty plastic, nothing gets through the plastic. Next time I'm at work I plan to get another piece of felt about the same size as the one in the picture, so most of my garden will have a weed bearer. Ive thought of try this for a couple of years, but this year I'm gonna see how this works out, hopefully as good as I think it will.
