This is a shame!

I thought it funny that after listing all the mods he did to the radio he ended it with saying "These radios need absolutely nothing".

These radios have loud audio and work best with a dead d-104. dead d-104. dead d-104. :watusay :wow

I'm sure what Chris did was great. I just got tickled by the wording of the ad. Sort of like last night on 75m a guy asked for a signal report and a lady said the SWR went 5. I knew what she meant it came off funny.

I dont care if he walks on water! No one should do any mods to these radios!

It would be just like taking a original 1970 hemi Cuda convertible ( 1 of 7 built ) and tubing it out...putting a blower on it and painting it pink! Or taking a Collins 75A4 and putting a roger beep in it! I know it's his radio and he can do what he likes but as a collector stuff like this just drives me nuts!

.........funny, it's seems to have been removied from ebay.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
