I have almost all the electrolytics in, I still need to check all the resistors but progress is being made.View attachment 61991

Are both the 47K Ohm Resistors going to the 7 Watt Ceramic 100 Ohm just left of the new larger blue and smaller black Caps. Upper left in pic below transformer. YEL VIO ORG SILVER? Thanks a bunch?

I am still working on my D201. Have the Photofact with CircuiTrace. Real deal not a copy. Still hard to see. I will be on a road trip pretty soon.

Here's the factory schematic. Just makes more sense to me than the Sams diagram spread over many pages. Not sure which parts you're asking about above. More than a few 47k resistors in this radio, half Watt and two Watt both.

My d201 is getting some new glass tonight, all the resistors checked good so this is the last stage before the big power up. The gassy looking ge tests goos but the tung-sol is going in for the audio tube

The tube on the right is dated 1958. The "188-5" legend next to the 4-digit date code was for the GE tube factory in Owensboro, KY. The Tung-Sol branded tube appears to have been made in the RCA factory. The octagonal "stop sign" outline around the type number was how that factory printed the indelible type number on the glass.

The pictures make it appear you have replaced every, last electrolytic capacitor. Bravo! Way too often I hear "replaced the caps", but when you look inside only the big ones are new, and all the small ones are still original.

She pased the smoke test today, listened to some stations on the bowl. Not much time to play with my stuff today so more to come in the near future ...
