trc-427 and palomar

i have a trc-427 the radio talks 9 watts on average and does 36 watts pep is that too much for my Palomar 300A ???

Not on Low side it won't be. The 300A is one of the very few amplifiers that totally bypasses the driver stage for Low side.

That radio is about twice the drive wattage that High side was meant to tolerate.
