I have removed the original 5 pin din plug and thought I had it all figured out to convert to a standard 4 pin Cobra/Uniden...but I'm guessing I have something backwards.
Radio RX fine with no mic hooked up (which it shouldn't) and goes into TX with the mic plugged in and gives me hellova noise when I key the mic. I'm guessing I have the rx, tx & audio bassakwards. I was only using the original mic & plug to go by on wiring and thought I had it zeroed out in my mind & board. Grr! Something simple and I still got it wrong...cb tricks didn't have a schematic...Any ideas!?
I'm at work at the moment so I can't look at the radio to say which pin wired to where on the board...
