A good tune up that radio will peak 18-20w. I prefer the D104m6b on that radio for fidelity. The amp question answered in amp section.

Are you saying you have one of the older ones still and you check them side by side and the new only does 6w? If not, are you using the same meter used when the others were checked? What meter is it? Has this radio been tuned?

So Amazon.com has this radio for 40bucks with free shipping, or there abouts. So I ordered one.



So the questions are... how well will this little guy perform after being tuned up (can this guy get loud?)... and, if I wanted to get an AMP for behind it what would be my best choice? I don't know how many amps my old (95) BMW has in her (and I don't feel like buying a new alternator)... so how high can I go? 250? 400?



I appreciate any advice on the subject! Oh, and I'll be running a Wilson 5000 antenna and a Road Devil Mic.

There should be a method to tune that radio a little better than that, sorry I can't help without it in front of me <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
