I have a Uniden Grant with the TA2222A audio chip.

There is no audio modulation and no pa audio.
Receive audio is fine and external speaker audio is fine.

The schematics I have found on the net are not the best when enlarged to read the parts is blurry.
So a good copy i need if possible.

I'm looking to replace cap C-186 C-153 C-18 C-95 and see what happens.

I wanted to check out schematic wise before I change them 1 at a time for the modulation not working

thanks

Way too many radios named "Grant" with that audio chip in them.

Is it the 1980s Grant radio with the PC-409 circuit board?

Or a Grant XL, Grant LT?

All of them use the TA7222P audio chip, but the circuit boards and schemos are different.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
