Which antenna would work best(performance) on a 30ft push up pole?

I notice that the V-quad has a "Stacking Kit available" at Copper. Just how far would one need to separate antennas to stack them properly?

Looking at the stacking kit, the antennas are not that far apart. I was under the impression to properly stack, you need a 1/2 wavelenth of separation.

inmh id just go with the m-103 on the flaty side.if ya already have a stick
if not mount this oner verticle.until ya can get a ground plane.then mount
the 103 flatside.just my personal preference

3 element maxi beam is a good beam gives both horizontal & vertical why pass up on the best of both when Dxin can't go wrong with it. i never had the V quad myself but one thing i do know they are a sleeper giving great dx performance i know a guy that has one and has talked all over the world straight out of his Realistic TRC 457 on SSB and had the Qsl cards to prove it. the 3 element Maxi Beam & the V quad are so close in performance its a flip of the coin or which one looks beter to you. those V's are kind of snazzy stacked.

  • @ Hambones amps:
Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
  • @ ShadowDelaware:
Hambones the entire amp section would have to be retuned, and the rf transformers re wrapped.
