the relays work but

So, does this mean the relay goes "click" when you key the radio?

If so, the keying transistor did its job and the zero power is being caused by some other fault(s).

And if the relay won't click when you key the mike, the keying transistor could be the culprit.

Nope, I'll fix it myself. None of these "techs" around here want to do much more than peak and tunes..

Cool! Now, about that "click" question.

The sound you hear when keying and releasing the mike are the starting point to diagnose a linear that won't perform.

I'll look at it later when I'm home.. I tested the tubes and they are 85% so that's a non issue plus I have replaced the caps.

The obvious shit is ok. When put on sb it passes rf, when put into TX the relays click like they should but no rf out.
